Automatically switch to AutoMerge after check in

After every commit to my dev branch, I often need to merge to other branches right away. The proposal for a shortcut key (command) to launch AutoMerge would be awesome but it would be even more awesome if it could automatically bring up AutoMerge after a successful "Check In" from the "Pending Changes" pane.

Would it be possible to hook into the event of a successful check in and switch to AutoMerge? Perhaps make this a setting if others wouldn't use this behavior.

Do you want switch to AutoMerge window after every commit or after commit to dev branch?

99% of my commits are to my dev branch. Unless you're counting AutoMerge as a commit. Maybe it could take a branch name (or list of branch names) as a setting for auto-switching to AutoMerge upon commit?
