Discussions is a place to discuss about FeynCalc in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We regard it as a replacement for the old FeynCalc mailing list, except that apparent bugs should be posted in Issues.

This forum is dedicated to questions about FeynCalc and related software packages.
If you want to receive e-mail notifications about new forum posts, please use
Custom notification controls.

Please use the forum for all FeynCalc-related questions instead of contacting developers
per e-mail: It helps to create a knowledge database that can benefit all users, not just you.

When participating in the forum we expect you to behave in a friendly, civilized and
professional manner as it is common in the High Energy Physics (HEP) community.

If you want to get help in a timely manner, please make some effort to formulate your
questions in an appropriate way. Below you will find some recommendations for
posting meaningful requests.

• Please don't forget to specify the FeynCalc version you are using as well as the
  Mathematica version and the operating system.

• If you are puzzled about a particular behavior of FeynCalc, please always provide a
  minimal working example (MWE) that can be used to reproduce the effect you observe.
  If the code is rather short, you can simply post it (as InputForm) in the text of your
  question. For longer codes, you can compress your .nb and .m files and attach them as
  a zip archive. Screenshots can be attached to illustrate something but not as a
  substitute for providing the source code.

• If you are trying to reproduce a particular calculation using FeynCalc and do not
  obtain the expected result, please do not expect other people to debug your
  scripts or do the calculation for you. This is because recalculating results from the
  literature is almost always nontrivial and requires significant time investments.
  Instead, you should try to narrow down the discrepancies to a particular step
  in your computation, where one can clearly see that upon applying a certain
  FeynCalc function, the output differs from what one would naturally expect.
  If you are able to provide that level of information, it becomes much easier to diagnose
  what goes wrong in your case.

• Please note that this is not a place to discuss particle physics and the
  related techniques per se (i.e. topics that really concern physics, not the software
  to do calculations). If you have doubts regarding the theoretical underpinnings of
  perturbation theory, Feynman diagrams, dimensional regularization, renormalization,
  phase space evaluations etc., please ask the corresponding questions on dedicated
  websites such as Physics Stack Exchange or Physics Forums.
