Make in-text citations clickable
Every author-year mention in the running text is now a link: to the DOI where
one exists, and to the matching entry in References where it does not. All
eleven DOIs were checked to resolve.
Two citations had to be corrected rather than linked. The text cited Wilson
(1967, 1970, 1974) while References listed 1967 and 1971; the two works the
text actually describes, the entropy derivation and the family of constrained
models, are 1967 and 1971, so the in-text citation now matches the list. Hua,
Ledent and Anselin were cited by year without verifiable references behind
them, so the sentence now says that De Vries et al. survey that discussion and
is where to pick those references up.
Alonso (1973) is added to References as the monograph it is. Neither Alonso
paper has a DOI, so both in-text mentions link to the References section
instead, where that is stated.
Accessibility repeats two references under Further reading; those now carry
the same DOI and PDF links as the main list.

Add DOIs to the literature and cross-link the GeoDMS documentation
Every journal reference now carries a resolvable DOI, verified against
Crossref rather than written from memory. Two corrections fell out of that
check: Hagerstrand (1970) is Papers in Regional Science 24(1), 7-21, not 6-21,
and the Wilson (1967) DOI that Crossref returns first is the issue front
matter, not the article. Alonso (1978) and Fotheringham & O'Kelly (1989) are a
book chapter and a book and have no DOI, which is now stated rather than left
ambiguous. The unverifiable Hua (1999) entry is replaced by a pointer to De
Vries et al., which surveys that discussion and is where the primary sources
can be found.
The GeoDMS documentation turns out to be the implementation of what several of
these pages describe in theory, so the two now point at each other:
- Spatial Interaction Models gains an implementation section for the
interaction option, including the boundary that matters in practice: with
beta_j fixed at 1.0 the elasticity alpha spans Wilson's unconstrained and
production constrained models but not the attraction or doubly constrained
ones, so capacity limited destinations need the competition corrected
measures instead. It also flags the Alonso versus Wilson notation difference
and points at the rewrite rules in impedance links.
- Distance decay functions maps its table onto dist_decay and dist_logit, and
notes that the Geurs & Ritsema van Eck parameters are dist_logit(-6.899,
2.326, 0), and that the option's alpha, beta and gamma are not the
elasticities of the same name.
- Travel impedance gains a section on routing by one impedance and aggregating
by another, which the alternative impedance option supports directly.
- Shortest path maps its variants onto startPoint, endPoint, cut, limit, euclid
and TraceBack.
- Accessibility indicators, Network centrality and the OD matrix page point at
service_area, trace_back and Link_flow, impedance_matrix and impedance_table.
References gains a software documentation section, and Home links impedance
options alongside network functions.

Summarise spatial interaction theory, drop the PC4 page, remove duplicate titles
Spatial Interaction Models is now a summary in our own words rather than a
near-verbatim reproduction of the Tinbergen discussion paper. It works through
the gravity model, Wilson's entropy-based family and Alonso's General Theory of
Movement, cites the original authors directly, and closes with what the theory
means in practice for accessibility work. The key point for this wiki is made
explicit: the balancing factors of a doubly constrained model are a potential
accessibility term and a competition correction. De Vries, Nijkamp & Rietveld
remain credited as the review followed, and References gains Wilson (1967),
Alonso (1978), Bikker (1987), Hua (1999) and Fotheringham & O'Kelly (1989).
GTFS and Public transport routing now link to the worked GeoDMS implementation
at geodms.nl/networkmodel_pbl/docs/create-routable-network-from-gtfs-files.html.
Removed the Dutch PC4 travel time matrix page. Its content is folded into
Applications in English, keeping both download links with their CC BY-SA 3.0 NL
terms, the method notes on NWB versus OSM, the hand-added Wadden ferry links,
junction penalties and BAG-weighted zone points, and the VPRO Nederland van
Boven link. The centroid figure moves to Zoning and spatial units with a caption
that matches what it actually shows.
Removed the leading H1 from all content pages, since GitHub renders the page
title from the filename and the heading appeared twice. Headings in Network
optimisation algorithm are demoted one level so its structure still nests.

Drop dashes, trim bold, add world and EU models, link to geodms.nl
Writing style: remove em and en dashes throughout, and reduce bold to the
places where it functions as a label rather than as emphasis.
Home: extend the scope table with the worldwide and European network models
alongside the PBL model, and reference all three from Applications, References
and the sidebar. Accessibility indicators and Network data sources now point at
the world model for settlement-rank measures and at the EU model for service
allocation.
Links: prefer geodms.nl over the GeoDMS GitHub wiki for network functions,
impedance, connect, connected_parts, service_area and the OD long to wide
example, and objectvision.nl for land use and the social domain.
Replace three dead links inherited from the old wiki: the PBL 2001 report now
resolves to the RIVM library PDF, and the Suriname project page and the nu.nl
article are gone, so those mentions keep their text without a hyperlink.
All 52 external URLs checked; all internal wiki links and images resolve.

Restructure wiki as a method reference for accessibility modelling
Position this wiki as the method/theory layer, distinct from the
objectvision.nl portfolio page, the project-specific networkmodel_pbl
documentation, and the GeoDMS software reference. Standardise on English.
Structure now follows the modelling chain: concepts, networks, origins and
destinations, computation, indicators, applications.
New pages with full content:
- Accessibility indicators: six indicator families with formulas, trade-offs
and a question-to-indicator selection table
- Travel impedance, Distance decay functions, Shortest path and the Dijkstra
algorithm, Network centrality (formulas moved out of Accessibility)
- Euclidean versus network distance, Zoning and spatial units,
Network data sources, Glossary, References
New pages as outlines, marked as such:
- Building a routable network, Travel speeds per mode, Connecting origins and
destinations to the network, Isochrones and catchment areas,
Public transport routing, GTFS
Existing pages:
- Home rewritten as a real table of contents with a scope table

Removed two orphaned Dutch MediaWiki leftovers whose content is now covered by
Euclidean versus network distance and Applications; both were unreachable from
any navigation and carried a broken image link.
All internal wiki links and image references verified to resolve.
