Code of Conduct

NetGaze follows the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1. The short version:

  • Be respectful of other people's time, work, and perspective.
  • Assume the person on the other side of the keyboard is acting in good faith.
  • Keep technical criticism technical; the code is the subject, not the author.
  • Harassment, personal attacks, and discrimination are not welcome here, in issues, pull requests, discussions, or anywhere else connected to the project.

Scope

This code applies to every project space: the repository, the issue tracker, pull requests, discussions, and any community channel that calls itself part of NetGaze. It also applies when someone represents the project in public, for example at a meetup or on social media.

Enforcement

If something crosses the line, email the maintainer listed in the repository description with a short account of what happened, who was involved, and any links or screenshots. Reports are handled privately. The maintainer may warn, temporarily mute, or ban participants depending on the severity and whether the behavior is repeated.

Attribution

This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1, available at https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/2/1/code_of_conduct.html.
