Triggers for generating new releases

@pschichtel thanks for your work on the new docker repo. I could not find you in the gitter chat, so I try this route. Are you able to generate a new release for Docspell on ghcr? There have been quite some changes, but they have not been pushed as docker image to the repo.

Perhaps we need to update the triggers to kickoff the build system and push updates automatically?

Hi @tiborrr. I set this up to track "upstream" releases. Since there wasn't a docspell release, there also wasn't any image release.

Currently the image build downloads the docspell binary release. I'm considering changing that to build docspell from source, but I haven't gotten around to actually doing it. That would make it possible to have some "nightly" or "unstable" image that tracks docspell git

Hi there, I'd like to bring in some dependency updates and would then do a release. There are more obstacles than I anticipated. So if it is somehow urgent, I'm also fine postponing this.

wrt nightly builds; there is a "nightly" release for each commit to master on the docspell repo, maybe that can be used

ah, didn't even know that. We can definitely do that. I'll check how we can trigger the build in this repo from the main repo, because cronjobs are a little tricky on free github actions.
