+OpenScreen is maintained by Etienne Lescot, in France, with its contributors. Contact: privacy@getopenscreen.com, or an issue on GitHub. The source code lives at [github.com/getopenscreen/openscreen](https://github.com/getopenscreen/openscreen).

+## The license
+
+The software is released under the [MIT license](https://github.com/getopenscreen/openscreen/blob/main/LICENSE). You can use it for free, for any purpose, commercial use included, and copy, modify and redistribute it under that license. There is no account, no paid tier and no watermark.

+## No warranty
+
+As the MIT license states, the software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Keep copies of recordings and projects that matter to you. To the extent the law allows, the maintainers are not liable for any loss arising from its use.

+## Your content
+
+Your recordings, projects and exports are yours. They stay on your computer, and OpenScreen claims no right over them. You are responsible for what you record and publish, and for having the right to record the people, screens and sounds it contains.
