From 9cc7a2334ae748f94c7527eac9706ab1abdb7d8f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Andrea Bedini Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2026 16:44:52 +0800 Subject: [PATCH] ci: bootstrap release tests with cabal 3.18.1.0 PR #12369 bumped the setup-depends of cabal-testsuite to Cabal 3.18.1.0 and moved validate.yml to bootstrap with cabal 3.18.1.0, but the release workflow kept bootstrapping with cabal 3.14.2.0. That cabal refuses to use lib:Cabal >= 3.16 for Setup scripts, so every test job of the nightly "Build and release" run has failed to resolve dependencies since 2026-10-13.
