I have no clue regarding the source of the issue - I assume the behaviour of Gephi changed in a recent version, but I was able to find a workaround. It seems that the script cannot create columns on the fly, but they need to be defined before running the script.

In the Data Laboratory View, I used the Add Column dialog to add the following columns:

package (String)
TotalClasses (Float)
ConcereteClasses (Float)
AbstractClasses (Float)
Ca (Float)
Ce (Float)
A (Float)
I (Float)
D (Float)
V (Float)
javaCycles (String)
javaCyclesNumber (Integer)

After that I could run the script and get it to populate the graph with both nodes and edges. The script does however throw another error, I will open a separate issue for that.

Another option is to use Gephi 0.8.2 (you'll need to install JDK6 for it, which is not a big deal anyway).
That's probably the preferred approach because I faced additional problems with Gephi 0.9.2 even after adding the columns above...

I managed to get the graph displayed; although it seems very uninformative. Just nodes with links??!!

I also get a secondary error, namely "KeyError: 'pop from an empty set", did you get to the bottom of this?
