IP Location etc missing from API calls

Hi,
This has been an issue for a week or so:
The API call used to return the same data as seen on your website. Now the Company, Abuse, ASN and Location info is missing from the JSON/HTML and other output options.

If I add a Referer header in curl it supplies the full information, so not sure if this is intentional or a bug?
If it is to deter abuse it's understandable, but sad as you were providing a useful service.
I'm a moderator of a small forum and used the service maybe 2-3 times a day to find the abuse score and location of spammer IPs.
I don't really want to sign up just for such a small number of calls and might have to bookmark another service.

Why can't you sign up in order to get 1000 fully free API calls per day?

The reason why I need to force previously free users to sign up and use API keys (so I can rate limit):

I have traffic from millions of different IP addresses and this unauthenticated traffic is consuming 90% of the API. I don't mind providing free data, but my hosting environment makes me pay for that and traffic in the terabytes costs around 1000$ to 3000$ per month.

The Referer thing is a way to bypass yes, if someone will paypass this in scale I will have to get rid of it

Basically I just wanted clarity if this was intentional or not - I have signed up for an account.
I really like your HTML results page and I've mapped the API call to a search engine in the browser.
I'll check out how to add an API key to that, shouldn't be too hard :)
