This is some code to help me group data into sets of various sizes grouping by characters from left to right.

In order to generate this tree, we first split a string into an array so you get
"andy" to array('a','n','d','y');

we then convert it to $db['a']['n']['d']['y'];

We then combine multiple strings into one big multi-dimension array. Along with this conversion,
we add a count index at every level to indicate how many other words have gone down it. 

How does this help? We assume that we want to search the current database of strings
with a phrase such as "an*" to get all strings beginning with 'an'. We also don't want the amount of results to go over a certain amount.
If we did, we could simply search for '*'. 


Applications:
This was written to help enumerate ldap data out of an openldap database that has a size limit. The idea being, we get subsets of data that are
under the sizelimit, we search for those, then we append the result to the search filter by saying everything BUT these to get the shortest
filter string without doing anything too fancy. 


Bugs + current status:
As of the moment it's untested in class format. I've just been playing with a rough file tree.php which has been tested a little.
