Feature request
Please add an opt-in word-breaking setting for automatically generated Open Graph images, equivalent to CSS
word-break: keep-allfor titles and descriptions.Problem
On Korean documentation sites, OG text can wrap between Hangul syllables in the middle of a word. For example, a description can end a line with
원하and start the next with는, splitting원하는. Wrapping at spaces would make these previews easier to read.Setting
thumbnails.fonts.familytoNoto Sans KRfixes missing Korean glyphs, but it does not change this wrapping behavior. The current thumbnail settings expose fonts and layouts without a word-breaking option, and site CSS does not control the separate OG renderer.Reproduction
Configure a site with the default thumbnail layout (no
thumbnails.preset) and:{ "thumbnails": { "fonts": { "family": "Noto Sans KR" } } }Create a page with a Korean title and a sufficiently long description, for example:
Render it with
mint og <page-path> --no-openand inspect the description's line break.Observed with
mint@4.2.1028and@mintlify/og@0.0.35. In a local experiment, addingwordBreak: 'keep-all'to the renderer's title and description styles made the description wrap at spaces as expected. This was only a local renderer experiment, not a change to the hosted service.Desired behavior
docs.jsonthumbnail settings.mint ogpreviews. This would let Korean sites retain automatically generated, page-specific social previews without maintaining their own image-generation pipeline.
