From 5b279f8d7a3be4c7aaf4274a1e609f19f5e5e63e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Michael The Date: Sat, 22 Jul 2023 12:43:24 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Update struct docstring, slashing most of it The struct docstring is much lengthier than most other docstrings. The online documentation is much more complete. Fix this docstring by removing most of it, referring instead to the online documentation. --- Modules/_struct.c | 6 +++--- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) diff --git a/Modules/_struct.c b/Modules/_struct.c index fad026ac8a4652..c066b77809e8c3 100644 --- a/Modules/_struct.c +++ b/Modules/_struct.c @@ -2874,9 +2874,9 @@ in the C struct.\n\ \n\ The optional first format char indicates byte order, size and alignment:\n\ @: native order, size & alignment (default)\n\ - =: native order, std. size & alignment\n\ - <: little-endian, std. size & alignment\n\ - >: big-endian, std. size & alignment\n\ + =: native order, std. size, no alignment\n\ + <: little-endian, std. size, no alignment\n\ + >: big-endian, std. size, no alignment\n\ !: same as >\n\ \n\ The remaining characters indicate types of args and must match exactly;\n\
