Issue from rock5/rock5c/download: Hardware Design only covers V1.1, shipping boards are V2.1 #2087

The Hardware Design section of the ROCK 5C download page only offers V1.1 (radxa_rock_5c_schematic_v1100.pdf, the components placement map and the 2D DXF), but the boards shipping now are V2.1: PCB silkscreen radxa ROCK 5C V2.1, retail box label Rev: V2.105, model RS131-D8R26.

There appears to be no V2.1 hardware document anywhere, in either the English or the Chinese documentation:

  • https://dl.radxa.com/rock5/5c/docs/hw/v2100/ returns 404
  • the directory index of https://dl.radxa.com/rock5/5c/docs/hw/ contains only datasheet/, dimension/, heatsink/ and v1100/

Three requests, smallest first:

  1. State on the download page which board revision the published V1.1 files apply to, so a V2.1 buyer knows the files may not match the board in hand.

  2. Publish a V1.1 to V2.1 change document. You already do exactly this for the ROCK 5A, where 5A_V1.2_Hardware_Revisions.docx and 5A_V1.2_改版点.docx sit in rock5/5a/docs/hw/ next to a V1.1-only schematic. A 5C_V2.1_Hardware_Revisions document in the same style would unblock us completely; we do not need the full V2.1 schematic if the change list exists.

  3. Publish the V2.1 schematic under hw/v2100/, the way the ROCK 5B has both V1.423 and V1.450 and the ROCK 5T has V1.2 and Industrial V2.01. Publishing hardware documents for the shipping revision is already your practice.

Why this matters: we are designing a product-level 40-pin HAT plus a MIPI-DSI display assembly around the ROCK 5C. Against a V2.1 board we cannot confirm the MIPI-DSI connector part, pin count, pitch and pin assignment (U20 on V1.1), the DSI IOVCC 1.8 V / 3.3 V selection (R205 / R206), the LCD RESET divider (R207 / R208, about 1.65 V on V1.1), whether DSI1 is routed out, or the source of the 40-pin header 5 V rail. Guessing wrong on any of these means a scrapped PCB run.

If a public release is not possible, we are glad to sign an NDA and receive the V2.1 documents directly. Please tell us the process.
