I build Payload AI, an open-source project that makes it easier to add practical AI capabilities to Payload CMS without rebuilding the same infrastructure from scratch.

The project started from something I wanted for my own work and has grown into a toolkit supporting multiple AI providers, content generation, translation, image and voice generation, custom prompts, access control, and more.

My goal is to keep Payload AI useful, flexible, and genuinely developer-friendly while continuing to improve it as Payload and the AI ecosystem evolve.

Sponsorship helps me spend more time on things that are difficult to sustain indefinitely as a side project:

• maintaining compatibility with new Payload releases
• fixing bugs and improving reliability

• experimenting with larger features and workflows
