As someone who has been using this software since day one, I’ve seen how much it has evolved and truly appreciate all the hard work put into recent updates. The core functionalities are solid. However, after using it for months, I’ve noticed a few UI/UX bottlenecks that could be better when browsing that i would like to make a few suggestion.

The 1st QoL is that is there an compact list view & waveform toggle? Afaik there isnt one. As shown in Image 1, the current UI forces a large waveform display for every single sample, which takes up significant vertical space and limits the number of visible items on screen. To improve browsing efficiency for large libraries, I suggest adding a settings toggle for a "Compact List View" or an option to hide waveforms in the main file list. As illustrated in Image 2, displaying only the file names creates a high-density, streamlined list that allows users to scan through dozens of samples much faster without unnecessary visual clutter. The waveform of the selected sample can be viewed with a bottom (or top panel) when selected
2nd QoL is about customizable Columns & file path display
Currently, the metadata columns are fixed to show Time, BPM, and Key as seen in Image 1. It would be extremely helpful if users could right-click the table header to customize, reorder, or toggle specific columns on and off. In particular, adding an option to display the File Path / Folder Location directly as a column (or a breadcrumb path like in Image 2) would allow us to immediately track the exact source directory of a sample without needing to open its properties menu. Afaik this is not customizable...
3rd is remembering sort state & user preferences across sessions.
There is an annoying quality-of-life issue regarding the sorting menu. Every time I relaunch the software, the sort order automatically resets to the default "Most Recent" (as shown in the attached screenshot). My preferred workflow is sorting "By Name", but having to manually re-select this option every time the app opens slows down the startup process. Could you please implement persistent session settings so that the app remembers the last selected sort order, or allow users to set a preferred default sorting method in the Settings menu?
Lastly, this is certainly not a high-priority issue, but the current UI color customization feels quite limited. We currently only have basic color tweaks and a simple light/dark theme switch, which can feel a bit repetitive over time. could you consider expanding the UI customization capabilities? Looking at other sample managers like Sonomy and ADSR as a reference, offering more granular color controls and layout themes would make the interface much more visually appealing and comfortable to look at during long production sessions.
I really like the shuffle function because it gives me random samples, which could be very helpful for inspiration.
On a related note, if possible in the future, it would be great if you could consider expanding shortcut support across the app.
For example, when expanding parent folders to view child folders (as shown in the attached screenshot), I currently have to precisely click the tiny arrow icon. It would feel much smoother if we could double-click anywhere on the folder name, or use a modifier key like Shift + Click to expand/collapse child folders instead of aiming for the arrow every time. I know this might be a bit nitpicky, but it’s a small detail that could speed up navigation and would be great to consider for your future roadmap!
This covers all the feedback and suggestions I’ve gathered from using the software over the past 3 months. I know it looks like a long list, but I’m sharing this because I genuinely want to see this software succeed. Currently on the market, I haven't found any other sample manager that seamlessly handles MIDI files, audio samples, and VST presets all in one place
