Question, will this support angular 2?

I have a new project to start and am thinking of just going straight to angular 2. I would like to use parse, would this be an option here?

I think Angular 2 moved away from using $scope and the digest or whatever that thing is called. So I guess we don't really need the patch, do we? We can do something like the following and it worked.
