The host speech manifest pairs the Paradee v1.1 SHA-256 with the old v1.0 size, 32,072,768 bytes. admitSpeech requires an exact size, so it rejects the pinned v1.1 model even when its hash is correct.

Use 31,275,232 bytes, as recorded by the exact engine gitlink 6003a10368d8a6d5fb1f70fe9c63a70866e8bcff in tools/paradee/pins.json. The model hash remains unchanged. This supports the native speech work in #381 and the implementation plan.

Validation:

  • Verified all four v1.1 input hashes and converted them with the pinned converter and Torch 2.14.0 CPU. Both conversion runs produced 31,275,232 bytes. Their output hashes did not match the reviewed hash, so neither output was staged or admitted.
  • Exercised the real file admission helper: the old size rejects the converted v1.1 file; the corrected size accepts it with its actual digest; the unchanged reviewed digest still rejects it. This proves the size fix without treating an unqualified model as valid.
  • npm run verify failed exactly one consistency check: the pinned upstream host-tts-worker.ts also has the stale v1.0 size. This draft must wait for an upstream correction and reviewed pin adoption. Do not weaken the consistency test or edit the vendored checkout.
  • npm run android:build and npm run android:build:local both stop at the existing missing qualified voice-output preflight. No APK, emulator, AOSP, provider, or device acceptance is claimed.
