Proxy servers are considered to be the minial firewall to control and filter all the inbound and outbound traffic of a specific network.
This proxy server is developed using only bare java socket programing (no higher API or Classes are used). The server can not handle HTTPS/SSL requests for simplicity.
The server was tested on a local machine by configuring the proxy setting to be handled the developed proxy server, however the in the proxy settings the HTTPS/SSL requests were allowed to be bypassed the proxy server in order to maintaine the order of getting the websites html base file and the attached style, media, font and etc..
