feat release 1.3.2
Expose allowed icon blocks via PHP filter and editor settings (like blockparty-tabs), adapt InnerBlocks templates for core/icon, document usage in README, and adjust trigger spacing.
feat(accordion-summary): add core/icon support for WordPress 7.0+
Align wp-env and wp-scripts with blockparty-tabs and move release scripts under tests/bin.
Replace legacy ESLint config, fix quality-js workflow steps, drop missing wp-env plugin, remove duplicate block wrapper in accordion-item edit, and harden Playwright inserter assertions for WP 6.4.
Editor bundles from @wordpress/scripts 32 depend on a core script handle that is missing on 6.4–6.5, which prevented block registration in E2E.
chore: add PHPUnit, Jest, and Playwright tests with CI workflows.

Release 2.0.0
Note
Medium Risk
Editor icon resolution and the react-jsx-runtime polyfill affect block registration and Summary UX across WordPress versions; semver major and broad toolchain changes warrant regression testing in editor and on the frontend.
Overview
Release 2.0.0 bumps the plugin from 1.3.2 and ships the largest functional change around Summary icons: the editor now prefers
core/iconwhen registered (WordPress 7.0+), keeps Blockparty / BeAPI icon blocks in the default list for 6.2+, and exposesblockparty_accordion_allowed_icon_blocksin PHP with matchinggetAllowedIconBlockslogic in JS (PHP passesallowedIconBlocksvia inline script). The Summary toolbar uses an inline SVG instead of@beapi/iconsfor the Icon control, with CSS updates forcore/iconand flex gap on triggers.Compatibility:
webpack.config.jsbuilds areact-jsx-runtimepolyfill andregister_react_jsx_runtimeregisters it on older WordPress so blocks load on 6.2–6.5. Tooling moves to@wordpress/scripts32+, flateslint.config.cjs, Node ≥20, and PHP 8.3/8.4 in Composer.CI & tests: New PHPUnit, Jest, and Playwright suites with wp-env on port 8889 (
.wp-env.test.json,tests/bin/initialize.sh). GitHub Actions add PHP, JS unit, and E2E workflows; the PR version job now runstests/bin/check-release-version.sh. Releasebump.shsupports patch/minor/major and lives undertests/binwith packaging tweaks in.distignore/.gitattributes.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit 4a09fd9.
