Here is where most of my personal projects live. I like working on tools that help real use cases.
- Thesis: local-first news analysis platform. RSS feeds into PostgreSQL, a FastAPI backend, a Next.js frontend with a three.js source atlas, semantic search through ChromaDB, and research agents for source profiles and verification workflows. My thesis project, still growing.
- Congress-Tracker: congressional accountability app. Rust and Axum behind PostgreSQL, Next.js up front. Tracks legislators, bills, committees, lobbying filings, elections, campaign finance, and stock disclosures from official sources, cross-referenced into one database.
- fundingflow: joins USAspending records, lobbying filings, FEC finance data, SEC disclosures, Federal Register rulemaking, and state economic indicators into one searchable graph where every relationship cites its record.
- audiobookgen: turns DRM-free EPUBs into audiobooks on my own hardware. Tauri 2 shell, Rust narration pipeline, local speech models like Kokoro, synchronized read-along, M4B export. No account and no cloud upload.
- slate: native Linux image editor written in Rust with GTK4 and libadwaita. Layer stack, masks, filters, brush and crop tools, libvips import and export.
- streamline: one dashboard for movies, TV, and anime, pulling TMDB and AniList into watchlists with progress and ratings.
- rocketjumpdemo: browser movement playground porting Source engine rocket jump physics at Team Fortress 2 values. Three.js rendering, fixed timestep simulation, speedometer, five weapons, jump courses.
Smaller tools are public too: personalAI runs a chatbot locally over llama.cpp with a CLI, streaming server, and web UI; EntertainmentTracker is a Django tracker for movies, TV, and books; 80sStartPage is a retro RSS start page; fancapripper fetches image sets from a Rust GUI.
Some of my work I use every day is in a private repo but we have: a Tauri manga reader with library management and full-text search, my dotfiles and desktop rice, and a few work-in-progress experiments.
