Two changes from #37, without the metric-batch keepalive from the test builds.

  • Flatpak USB permission request stays open. The runtime used to close the portal request after two minutes and then had no device access until it was restarted. The dialog comes from the windowless runtime, so after boot it is easy to miss or opens behind the app window. The request now stays open until the user allows or denies access, the status keeps saying that a request is waiting, and after two minutes the runtime only logs acquire_still_pending. droupal confirmed on the test build that access is granted and the session comes up.
  • README known issue. On a Panorama SE with firmware v2.0.6, a still-image carousel (Loop or Shuffle, where the firmware switches media itself) stopped answering after 34 min to several hours, on Ping and on metric-batch keepalives alike. One still image ran 4 h 40 min and 10 h 50 min without a stall. Workaround: Single playback with one image or video.

The empty metric_batch keepalive (24391f7) is left out on purpose: the stalls happened with it as well, and 2.5.3 already matches KANALI's traffic for overlays without metrics.

Checked locally: portal USB suite, 35 passed (run as in check-in-sdk.sh, isolated D-Bus session).

The runtime closed the USB portal request after two minutes and then had no
device access until it was restarted. After boot the dialog is easily
missed: the runtime has no window, so the dialog is not attached to the app
and can open behind it. A user who found it later could not allow access
any more (#37).

The request now stays open until the user allows or denies access, while
the status keeps saying that a request is waiting in the portal. After two
minutes the runtime only logs acquire_still_pending once.
… v2.0.6

With a carousel of still images the display stops answering after half an hour to several hours, and only a power-off recovers it; one still image ran for more than 10 hours on the same setup (#37).
