StarCompanion ("the App") is an unofficial companion application for Star Citizen.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use the App.
StarCompanion does not require users to create an account or sign in.
StarCompanion does not collect personal information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Username
- Phone number
- Mailing address
The App does not operate its own servers and does not transmit your personal information to the developer.
StarCompanion stores application data locally on your device.
This may include:
- Hauling routes
- Mining information
- Application settings
- User preferences
This information remains on your device and is not synchronized to any cloud service or backend server.
The free version of StarCompanion displays advertisements using Google AdMob.
Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information in order to provide and improve advertising services, including but not limited to:
- Device identifiers
- Advertising ID
- IP address
- Device information
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Advertisement interaction information
This information is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

StarCompanion offers optional rewarded video advertisements.
Watching a rewarded advertisement is completely voluntary.
After successfully viewing a rewarded advertisement, premium features are unlocked for seven (7) days.
No purchase is required to use this feature.
StarCompanion does not use analytics services.
The App does not include:
- Google Analytics
- Firebase Analytics
- TelemetryDeck
- Any custom analytics platform
The developer does not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
Any information collected through Google AdMob is handled according to Google's own privacy practices.
StarCompanion is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because StarCompanion stores your data locally on your device and does not operate backend servers, you remain in control of your application data.
While reasonable efforts are made to provide a secure application, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
