Hi there, I'm Federico Luo 👋

🎓 Recent Master's Graduate in Actuarial Science, Risk & Data Analysis from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan.

I am passionate about Artificial Intelligence and predictive modeling applied to the insurance sector. I enjoy bridging the gap between advanced statistical methods and real-world actuarial challenges, balancing technological innovation with the strict regulatory and reporting frameworks of Solvency II and IFRS 17.

About Me

  • My core focus lies in quantitative and predictive modeling, specifically leveraging Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP (LLMs) to solve pricing and risk management challenges across the insurance, reinsurance, and Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) markets.
  • For my Master's thesis, I developed an AI-driven framework to convert unstructured claim descriptions into early financial severity estimates using neural networks.
