A calendar and weather dashboard for the screen in your kitchen, hallway, classroom, or shared space.
Weekaroo runs on your own machine. Add ICS calendars, pick a weather location, and leave it up on a spare laptop, Raspberry Pi, or wall display. No account or hosted dashboard required.
- Shows the next seven days from one or more ICS calendars
- Adds current conditions, forecasts, hourly weather, and live radar
- Keeps notes, countdowns, timers, and day-specific reminders in view
- Lets you hide an event from the dashboard without touching its source calendar
- Works with public weather or a WeatherFlow Tempest station
- Can generate an optional short message bar through an OpenAI-compatible provider
git clone https://github.com/Fins1600/weekaroo.git
cd weekaroo
chmod +x install.sh run-dashboard.sh run-demo.sh
./install.sh
./run-dashboard.shOpen http://127.0.0.1:4020.
Want to look around before adding your own calendar? Run ./run-demo.sh for a safe set of synthetic data.
Calendar feeds, notes, weather tokens, and optional AI keys are stored in local files that are ignored by git. Weekaroo does not need an account or a cloud service to run.
Live radar and map tiles use public internet services when available. If they are down, the rest of the dashboard still works.
