Implements the CEO decision to relicense the Forest Admin agents from GPL-3.0 to Apache-2.0 (effective 2026-10-12).

  • Every LICENSE file replaced with the Apache License 2.0 text and the copyright notice Forest Admin
  • license field of every @forestadmin/* package.json set to Apache-2.0; LICENSE added to the four packages that lacked one; Dockerfile image labels, OpenAPI document licence and READMEs updated

Do not merge before 2026-10-12: the merge triggers a release, which must be published on or after the effective date.

Relicense all packages from GPL-3.0 to Apache-2.0

Replaces the GPL-3.0 license text with Apache-2.0 in the root LICENSE and in every package's LICENSE and package.json license field. Also updates license metadata in the generated OpenAPI document (generateOpenApiDocument in openapi-document.ts) and in the Docker image labels. The test in openapi-document.test.ts is updated to match.

  • Risk: license change affects all published packages; consumers relying on GPL-3.0 terms must re-evaluate compliance.
