row 163: retire busbar-release from busbar — docs and comments name ModernCI, not the hop/turnstile/EC2 fleet - #830
Merged
Conversation
…ts hop, turnstile and EC2 fleet name ModernCI (row 163) OWNER 2026-10-12 "ModernCI only"; 2026-10-13 "delete anything you don't need anymore". Dead references only, no behaviour: gate-integrity (the ladder table), proof README, OpenSSF evidence, conformance README (its consumer is .ci/predev.yaml's conformance check), Dockerfile, deny.toml, mcp-conformance.sh, the conformance-check and design-bindings comments, the one-memory-abi and hot-path comments, and actionlint's EC2 `busbar-xl` label (the EC2 fleet is gone).

Row 163 (busbar-release retired from busbar), second PR. It is independent of #829 and touches none of #829's files.
What: rewords references that named the busbar-release hop, turnstile, engine or EC2 fleet as busbar's pipeline. Comments and docs only, no behaviour change:
docs/ci/gate-integrity.md: the check table is now the ModernCI ladder (.ci/default.yaml,.ci/predev.yaml) instead of promote.yml'spreflight/hop.docs/proof/README.md,docs/security/openssf-best-practices.md: publishing is ModernCI's.ci/qa.yamlon landing, not "the engine in busbar-release".conformance/README.md,xtask/src/conformance_check/mod.rs: the consumer is ModernCI'sconformancecheck in.ci/predev.yaml, notbusbar-release-turnstile/-train.xtask/src/gates/design_bindings/verify.rs: the comment and one detail string say "the pipeline runs" every registered gate (cargo xtask gate --all), not busbar-release'sdiscover_gates. No selftest asserts on the changed words.xtask/src/gates/mod.rsandxtask/tests/hot_path_gates.rs: comments only.Dockerfile,deny.toml,scripts/mcp-conformance.sh: comments only..github/actionlint.yaml: dropsbusbar-xl, the EC2 fleet's runner label. The fleet is torn down and no workflow names the label. Why: OWNER 2026-10-12 "ModernCI only"; OWNER 2026-10-13 "delete anything you don't need anymore, yes". Spec Part 6 "BUSBAR-RELEASE RETIRED FROM BUSBAR" lands in #829.
RED-able test: none applies; nothing behavioural changes. The gates that read these files (design-bindings, public-hygiene fixtures) are unchanged in logic.
Ledger rows touched: none.
