iOS Engineer · Southern Utah
I build and ship native iOS apps, and I own the iOS side of a production app used by tens of thousands of people every month.
- Own iOS development for the Utah State Parks app: 27K monthly users, 100K+ lifetime downloads. Digital park passes, visitor check-in, offline brochures, deep linking, and interactive Mapbox maps.
- Ship end to end: requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, App Store release.
- Build things that go deep when something interests me, like the project below.
Featured project: BEER
A native macOS app (SwiftUI) that installs and runs Windows Steam games on Apple Silicon through Apple's Game Porting Toolkit.
- Custom C#/.NET helper on SteamKit2 (QR sign-in, cloud saves, achievements), driven from Swift over a JSON CLI boundary
- Bidirectional cloud-save sync with timestamp + SHA-1 conflict resolution and mandatory backups before every write
- Per-game isolated Wine environments, DLC management, achievement overlay, controller support
- Offline XCTest suite, layered architecture, 5+ public releases, MIT licensed
