Question: ImpureDX crashes when loaded via Special K

Hi,

I successfully built ImpureDX and tried loading the DLL via Special K's DLL/plugin loading mechanism.

The DLL appears to be loaded, but IIDX INFINITAS crashes shortly after startup.

I would like to ask:

1. Is loading ImpureDX via Special K expected to work?
2. Does ImpureDX require a specific loading method instead?
3. Could this crash be caused by an unsupported IIDX INFINITAS version?

I am not sure whether the issue is related to the loading method or a version mismatch.

It could very well be crashing to a version mismatch. The way it's made is somewhat resilient to updates, but it's not guaranteed. I think last time I tried it ~4 months ago it still worked, though. You can try injecting using winmm.dll injector, either find existing one or build mine https://github.com/MatVeiQaaa/proxydll_chainload

Overall the project is long abandoned because I got distracted by LR2, sorry. And right now I got no reason to do anything more with infinitas.

I tried using the winmm.dll injector by building your proxydll_chainload project, but unfortunately it still crashed when loading ImpureDX. With an empty chainload.txt the game starts normally, but once I add azop.dll / ImpureDX to chainload.txt, it crashes.

So I guess it really is most likely a version mismatch.

If you ever feel like updating it again, I’d be extremely happy and would jump on it right away.

Also, your LR2-related work looks amazing, with so many great features. I mainly use beatoraja, so unfortunately I haven’t had much chance to try it myself, but I still think it’s really impressive.
