… synchronization and refine Linux-specific backend process handling
Summary
Fixes high background RAM usage: when minimized to the tray, the main window is now hidden immediately and, after a grace period (3 minutes) of staying hidden, is actually destroyed to release the WebView (WebKitGTK/WebView2/WKWebView) from memory. Reopening within the grace period is instant (window is just unhidden); reopening after it has elapsed rebuilds the window from scratch and reuses the existing splash screen so the transition looks the same as first launch instead of a blank window mid-render.
Since Tauri exits the process once the last window is destroyed, the app now also intercepts
ExitRequestedto keep running (tray + Go backend) with zero windows open — while still allowing a real exit when the user explicitly quits from the tray (tracked via aquittingflag, sinceapp.exit(0)itself raises the sameExitRequestedevent).Additionally fixes two related "zombie process" issues:
.AppImage) while an instance was already running in the tray spawned a whole second Tauri + WebKit process. Addedtauri-plugin-single-instanceto intercept this and just focus the existing window instead.kill -9, session logout). On Unix, the child process now dies with the parent viaPR_SET_PDEATHSIG.Related issue

How was this tested?
ps -eo pid,%cpu, rss, comm | grep -iE 'devaulty|WebKit') that the WebKit process disappears from the process list after minimizing to the tray and staying hidden past the grace period, and reappears only after reopening.kill -9and confirmed the Go backend process terminates alongside it instead of becoming orphaned..AppImage/installed binary while one was already running in the tray and confirmed it just focuses the existing window instead of spawning a duplicate process.ExitRequestedfromapp.exit(0)was being swallowed by the same handler that keeps the app alive after the main window is destroyed).Checklist
