fix(compose): bind published ports to localhost only - #72
Merged
Merged
Conversation
The compose files published ports on 0.0.0.0, so a local test stack was reachable from anywhere the host is. Every mapping now binds 127.0.0.1 explicitly. Verified: 0 unsigned public port mappings remain in this repository.

Problem
Every published port in this repo's compose files bound to
0.0.0.0, so a locally runstack was reachable from anywhere the host is — including the LAN. For a self-hosted
app whose own docs describe it as running on a private/Tailscale network, that is the
wrong default.
Change
Each unsigned port mapping now binds explicitly to localhost:
Already-scoped mappings, commented-out examples and UDP/TCP suffixes were left alone.

Heads-up
This is a behaviour change. Anyone who relied on reaching the stack directly from
another machine on the LAN must now publish the port themselves — e.g. bind the Tailscale
address (
100.x.y.z:8080:8080) instead of127.0.0.1. That is deliberate: exposing aself-hosted service should be a decision, not a default.
