Dear all,

I built and installed OpenFAST from source. All regression tests passed except 24 – 5MW_OC4Jckt_DLL_WTurb_WavesIrr_MGrowth. OpenFAST appears to terminate normally, but several output channels (e.g., 45 HydroFyi and 47 HydroMxi, along with eight others) did not meet the test tolerance/pass criteria.

I’ve attached the relevant log and HTML files for reference.

The 5MW_OC4Jckt_DLL_WTurb_WavesIrr_MGrowth test case is problematic: it often fails on our continuous integration testing. You can ignore this failure.

We haven't tracked down the exact reason it sometimes results in different answers, but suspect there is a bug somewhere in the marine growth calculation that has either a numerical instability or uninitialized variable. This is on my list of things to investigate.

I'm going to leave this issue open as a reminder to the development team.
