Conversation
openipc.org now installs the GK7205V200 family with the u-boot-<soc>-nor.bin bootloader and, where the -split package is published for the edition, writes firmware.bin at 0x50000 with the rest of the chip erased (OpenIPC/website#482, deployed). Builder's FPV editions publish no -split package and keep the two-image install.

The split-layout page now says that openipc.org can set a camera up on the layout from scratch, alongside
defib install.openipc.org got this in OpenIPC/website#482, now deployed. For these SoCs it installs
u-boot-<soc>-nor.bin. Where the-splitpackage is published for the chosen edition, it writesfirmware.binat 0x50000 and erases the rest of the chip. Editions without a-splitpackage keep the two-image install; today that's OpenIPC/builder's FPV builds (wfbng).
