Nethermind published the UltraHonk verifier on crates.io as ultrahonk_soroban_verifier 0.1.0. This switches stellar-confidential from the git pin (097da17d) to that release.

0.1.0 was published from upstream commit 9aae958, a descendant of the audited pin. Between the two, the crate's source diff is docs, a test moved out of the library, and the removal of extern crate alloc; the verification logic is unchanged.

At default features the release is no_std and never allocates, so the packaging exceptions that followed from the git dependency and its alloc link no longer apply:

  • stellar-confidential follows the standard library layout: crate-type = ["lib", "cdylib"] and publish = true. publish-crates.yml publishes it on release tags, after stellar-contract-utils, its only workspace dependency.
  • The five examples/confidential/* contracts drop the soroban-sdk alloc feature.
  • The README Packaging section, the Global Allocator crate docs, and the exceptions in both CLAUDE.md files are removed.
  • The factory test fixtures in examples/confidential/factory/testdata/ are rebuilt from the updated manifests. compliant-token is code-identical; allowlist-policy differs only in function order.

cargo publish -p stellar-confidential --dry-run --no-verify succeeds (132 files, 1.0 MiB).

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • The confidential package is now available for publication and supports both standard library and dynamic library builds.
  • Updates
    • The verifier now uses the published release of its backend, which includes audit remediation.
    • Confidential examples now use the shared workspace configuration for the Soroban SDK.

Depend on ultrahonk_soroban_verifier 0.1.0 from crates.io instead of the git pin. The release is alloc-free, so stellar-confidential follows the standard library layout (lib + cdylib, publish = true), the examples drop the soroban-sdk alloc feature, and the factory test fixtures are rebuilt to match.
