Confidential Token: pass G and H to multi_scalar_mul as witnesses - #945

bb routes an MSM with constant G/H bases through fixed-base lookup tables, whose read counts non-zk proofs commit in the clear. Route the generators through a constrained hint, regenerate the baseline and VKs, and check the compiled ACIR for constant MSM bases and plookup-backed blackboxes in CI.
…ting Names the Nethermind verifier dependency and explains what the non-zk UltraHonk flavour means for privacy and how the zk flavour would change it.

fail closed when no operands are parsed or the count is not a multiple of five.
Report the parse failure, mark the check as bad, and skip the base-point loop

documented guarantees: describe Pedersen hiding, ECDH-derived Poseidon2 masking,
and the limited constant-base lookup check without claiming universal witness
privacy or non-recovery of low-entropy values. Remove the unsupported BN254
key-recovery estimate and equivalence to soundness assumptions, and clarify that
zk verification uses a different proving recipe.

An empty or malformed operand list previously skipped the base-point check and passed.
States that the fix closes one known leak and gives no privacy guarantee, names the lookup-inverse relation's source, and makes the as_witness docstring precise about read tags, hit counts, and compiler folding.

Barretenberg routes a
multi_scalar_multhrough its fixed-base lookup tables when a base point is an ACIR constant equal to one of its precomputed generators, which the Pedersen generatorsGandHare. Under the non-zk UltraHonk flavour that the verifier currently supports, lookup read counts are committed without masking, so the table rows selected by secret scalars become part of the proof. This PR keeps secret values out of the lookup argument.commitandscalar_mulincircuits/lib/src/lib.nrpass the generator through a constrained hint, so bb takes the variable-base path, which uses ROM tables instead of plookup. The hint is anchored on a witness and constrained after the multiplication; otherwise the compiler folds the constant back.constraints.baselineare regenerated. Gate counts rise, but the fixed-base tables disappear, so every trace shrinks: register 2^14 → 2^13, clawback 2^15 → 2^13, and withdraw, transfer, set_spender, spender_transfer 2^15 → 2^14.circuits/scripts/check_witness_lookups.shruns in the Noir workflow. It inspects the compiled ACIR and fails on anymulti_scalar_mulwith a constant base point and on any blackbox outside a lookup-free allowlist.Testing:
nargo test(158 tests) andcargo test -p confidential-verifier-examplepass.gadget_commit,gadget_ecdh, register, withdraw, transfer; 112 proofs). The read-count and read-tag commitments vary with the witness before the change and are constant per circuit after it. Every proof verifies against the committed VKs.main.PR Checklist
