What needs to happen?

Video 6 — The resource definition group

Folder docs/video-series/06-resource-definition-group. About four minutes. Assumes video 5. Say resource definition group in full.

• The group is the list of models that make one warehouse. Harvest, validation, and loading all take this list as their scope.
• Create it when the .hdv exists. Do not wait for a Business Vault or a dimensional model.
• Open metadata retail-sources. Name, catalog connection local-catalog, and the Data Vault models tab with retail-360.hdv.
• The sample group already lists Business Vault and dimensional models. Say that those were added later, and that a first group can list only the .hdv.
• Open the EDW Journey on retail-sources. The tree is the poster from video 1, now filled in.
