In-app support and acknowledgements

  • Add a bilingual Help menu with Report a problem and About PACE Controller.
  • Link reports directly to the public GitHub issue tracker.
  • Show Sebastiano Romi, European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS), University of Florence (UNIFI), and romi@lens.unifi.it in the application.
  • Reuse CurveMole's cleaned Linux host environment so packaged applications can open browser and file-manager links reliably.
  • Add a structured GitHub bug-report form.

Zenodo DOI automation

  • Dispatch an asynchronous DOI-sync workflow after every GitHub release.
  • Poll Zenodo for the matching title and version.
  • Insert the version DOI automatically into the README badge/citation, CITATION.cff, and GitHub release notes.
  • Reset future releases to a DOI-pending state until archival completes.
  • Add full author affiliation and institutional email to citation/package metadata.

Documentation and validation

  • Document the Help menu, author contact, issue reporting, and DOI lifecycle.
  • 17 passed in the cross-platform pytest suite.
  • All 7 repository consistency tests passed.
  • Release scripts and Python sources compile cleanly.
  • git diff --check passes.
  • The frozen v0.3.1 PowerShell implementation remains unchanged.

One-time prerequisite: enable SebRoLENS/pace-controller in the Zenodo GitHub integration. The workflow itself needs no Zenodo token.
