Records the default-payment prerequisite shipped in Sendmux/sendmux#622 and accepted on app/workers v1.8.284. Adds the 9 October 2026 changelog entry before 8 October, with the current docs polish pass applied:

Add a default payment method before enabling automatic top-ups in Sendmux.

Updated from current docs main 31c93fc996740d21882e558ec9f4b8618f4392d5. All existing entries remain unchanged; the two evidence files are excluded from publication. The historical finalisation JSON describes the original wording; the source evidence records the current polish and release date.

Validation: confidentiality, external links, MCP docs contract, Postman drift, MCP discovery, Mintlify validation and broken links passed. Rendered preview confirms exact copy, date and order, with no console errors. Hosted Docs gates must pass on the refreshed head before approval.

Publication is held for Ops Watch's exact-head approval. Merge publishes the changelog and RSS only; no app deployment, account setting or payment action. After approval, verify the public page and RSS independently. The unchanged dependency audit findings remain an owner follow-up.
