Production displays only a full-viewport, muted, autoplaying video loop while Docs V2 is in development. Portrait viewports use the supplied mobile composition; landscape viewports use the desktop composition. Orientation changes switch sources. There is no visible text, navigation, or player chrome.
A single native video scales the entire frame to the viewport in both dimensions. This removes letterboxing, cropping, and the visible seams caused by canvas tiling. The deliberate tradeoff is adaptive proportions: lettering becomes wider or taller with the viewport. The WebP loading image uses matching sizing.
The seven-second H.264 MP4s use fast-start metadata: desktop is 434,231 bytes (1920×1080), mobile is 473,623 bytes (720×1280), about 79% smaller combined than the originals. Only the selected video is assigned a source; static media stays outside the JavaScript bundle.
Development retains full documentation, sidebar, and existing styling. Source documents and the V2 PR index are preserved. Depends on the Docusaurus stable upgrade below this branch.
Validation: production build and whitespace checks passed. Screenshots were visually reviewed at desktop (1728×1085), ultrawide (2560×1080), mobile (390×844), and rotated mobile (844×390). Browser checks confirmed correct orientation sources, active muted looping playback, viewport coverage, no visible page text, and no console warnings/errors. No merge was performed.
