Functions Actions WriteDataAction

Florian Fehring edited this page Oct 2, 2026 · 1 revision

The WriteDataAction can write data to URLs. It supports sending JSON data from configuration or from a result of a previous executed job.

Configuration

This Action has the following configuration parameters that should be stored in the datajobs_params table:

Parameter Description Standard optional
url http url where data can be fetched - no
requestmethod HTTP Request method to use for the request GET yes
username Username for the connection. - yes
userpwd Users password for the connection. - yes
urlparams JSON with parameters to send as path parameters - yes
body Data to send along with an POST/PUT request. - yes
prejobfield Name of the field from previous job result to send along - yes

Example for urlparams:

{
   "storage": "smartmonitoring",
   "filter": "synced,eq,false"
}

If a body is configured and a previous result was found in the given prejobfield, than the configured body and previous result get mixed. Previous result has priority, so its contents overwrite (in case of json) attributes from body configuration.
