Keep keyboard open?

Describe the bug
I'm trying to keep the keyboard open whilst displaying a popup. I've tried changing the mode but nothing seems to work. I assume this is because the input looses focus. I'm wondering if some sort of hidden text input or something can be used to keep the keyboard open, or if another workaround has already been discovered/discussed.

Device/Setup Info:

• Device: iPhone 15 Pro
• OS: 17.2
• react-native version: 0.74.1
• react-native-popover-view 5.1.8

The keyboard was closing temporarily because of the portal used in RN_MODAL mode. That made the measured coordinates wrong, since the keyboard was already closed when the popover was positioned. I fixed this by switching to JS_MODAL.
When using JS_MODAL, the Popover should be rendered as a direct parent of the trigger (avoid nesting it inside other wrappers) so the popover can show correctly.
