AnchorBridge

A full-stack open-source platform that enables anyone to launch a Stellar-compliant fiat on/off ramp (Anchor) without writing backend infrastructure from scratch.

Project Goal

AnchorBridge is a no-code/low-code Stellar Anchor launcher that implements the Stellar Ecosystem Proposals (SEPs) required for regulated fiat on/off ramps on the Stellar network. It works out of the box for any operator wanting to onboard users from fiat to USDC/XLM and back.

Implemented SEPs

• SEP-1: stellar.toml configuration file generator and hosting
• SEP-6: Deposit and withdrawal API (non-interactive, programmatic)
• SEP-10: Stellar Web Authentication (JWT-based wallet authentication)
• SEP-12: KYC API — collect and store user KYC data securely
• SEP-24: Interactive deposit and withdrawal flows (hosted UI inside iframe)
• SEP-31: Cross-border payments (direct payment API for sending)

Architecture

AnchorBridge is a monorepo containing the following components:

• apps/web: Next.js Operator Dashboard + SEP-24 Interactive UI
• apps/api: Node.js Express Backend implementing SEPs
• contracts: Soroban smart contracts in Rust (Escrow, Fee Splitter, Asset Whitelist)
• packages/stellar-utils: Shared Stellar transaction helpers
• packages/sep-utils: Shared SEP validation and parsing utilities

Setup

1. Copy .env.example to .env and fill in the environment variables.
2. Run npm install at the root to install dependencies.
3. Start the PostgreSQL database: docker-compose up -d.
4. Generate Prisma client in apps/api: cd apps/api && npx prisma generate.
5. Run the development server: npm run dev.
