cant add any custom generators

when i try to add a new generator in the config it just gets removed on server boot, i have it exactly the same as the cobbled deepslate datapack but no matter what i do i get this error; [23:06:01] [FileWatcher-1-thread-1/WARN] [ne.ne.fm.co.ConfigTracker/CONFIG]: Configuration file D:\mc server\config\createcobblestone-common.toml is not correct. Correcting

The configuration should not be changed when adding custom generators, any changes should be done in the datapack. Datapack-added generators will be enabled once the datapack is loaded.

I added it in /data like how it is in the datapack for the deep slate one but it doesn't appear in the config

It should not appear in the config, custom data pack generators are always on when loaded using a datapack.

Due to historical reasons the deepslate generators are an exception.

but how do I know then if its actually added cause pressing with the block on it does nothing and it's also not in the creative menu

You are running this in a discrete server right? I received a comment on curseforge changing generator type to something else is broken on client-server. Does the generator appear in the creative tab?

Also, does it work in singleplayer?

I,m running a self hosted neo forge server and it doesn't appear in creative mode and haven't tested yet in single player

must it be in /datapack? I added it straight in /data cause I can never Create a working datapack

No, "/datapack list" is a chat command to list datapacks.

Looks like Minecraft does not recognize the datapack at all. Can you send it to me so I can take a look?

I just added in /data a folder called createcobblestone like it is in the data pack and Inside that like it is in the datapack and then a json file with just andesite instead of deepslate cobblestone like it is in the datapack

You created a folder in the save's data/ folder? That does not work. I thought you were talking about the datapack's data folder.

Please try creating a folder inside the 'datapacks' folder (inside the save folder), let's call that folder DATAPACK. (Substitute something yourself)

Then create DATAPACK/pack.mcmeta with the following contents, else the datapack will not be recognized.

Then create DATAPACK/data/createcobblestone/generator_types/YOUR_TYPE.json, containing a custom generator configuration like in the deepslate generator pack.

Please send me the output of the '/datapack list' command after you did the above steps.
