OLED Keyboard Not showing in Dark Mode iOS 27 Beta 7

Describe the bug

On iOS 27 beta 7 the OLED keyboard is not visible and is showing a black area at the bottom where the keyboard would be. It appears the function when the setting is set to daylight mode in profiles so there is a problem with the dark mode and compatibility with the iPhone profile o dark mode.

Steps to reproduce

Open Youmod
Open appearance
Activate OLED KEYBOARD
Close YOUTUBE app completely
Open YOUTUBE app
ENSURE dark mode is active
test a search

Crashlog or video error popup log

No response

Was able to reproduce on iOS 27.0 stable. Working on fixing it.

Doing some testing and cleanup, once it'll be done, I'll submit the fix to my PR with other fixes.

Once it gets merged into the pre-release branch, I can build the deb file for you so you could inject it into your IPA.

That's a really good idea. Thank you very much for all your help. I have been scratching my head to see if I could fix it myself at some point, but it's quite a difficult one and it's quite strange behaviour. It's also worth pointing out that for some reason I couldn't replicate this behaviour on the iPad version, no matter how hard I tried, so I was exclusive to the iPhone. I'm not sure whether it was affecting the latest iOS, as I was also running beta.

Seems to have been affecting everything from iOS 26 and onwards. Anyways, it's in #177! Feel free to test it (especially since I don't have an iOS 18+ iPad :D)

The fix hasn’t been merged into the pre-release branch, let alone the main branch. If you want to try the fix now, you need to build the deb file and inject it into an IPA yourself.

Fix merged into the pre-release branch. Once a few features will be finished, a new stable version with the fix will come out.
