Why

WillBooster/tree-sitter v14.0.0 bumps the language ABI to 0x5742000a (opaque scanner checkpoints), and its runtime accepts only that ABI. The checked-in parser still carries 0x57420009, so every CI job that loads it fails (Error loading Java parser: Version(1463943177) = 0x57420009 in test-rust, ts_parser_set_language assertion in fuzz). The parser has to be regenerated with the v14 CLI.

Customer Summary

The npm package and the Rust crate now require @willbooster/web-tree-sitter / willbooster-tree-sitter 14 or later within major version 14; older runtimes reject the parser. Parse results are unchanged.

Technical Summary

• src/parser.c and src/tree_sitter/parser.h are regenerated by script/generate with the v14.0.2 CLI (ABI 0x5742000a); src/grammar.json and src/node-types.json are unchanged.
• package.json keeps Renovate's devDependency 14.0.2 and Cargo.toml/Cargo.lock (willbooster-tree-sitter 14.0.0 / locked 14.0.2), and narrows the peerDependency to ^14.0.0.
• The ABI number, runtime version, and docs.rs link in README.md and bindings/rust/lib.rs are updated; the README's Rust snippet pins willbooster-tree-sitter-java major 12, which this breaking change releases.

Testing

• cargo test (unit test and doctest): passed; it failed with Version(1463943177) before regeneration.
• bun run verify: passed.
• CI (Test on Linux, macOS arm64 and x64, Test Rust, fuzz): passed.

Notes

BREAKING CHANGE: the parser carries ABI 0x5742000a, so @willbooster/web-tree-sitter and willbooster-tree-sitter 13 and older reject it; consumers must upgrade the runtime to 14.
