Did not bump actions/ai-inference (#1233). Did not add CODEOWNERS.

Include:

  • A summary of what changed and why
  • How to test or verify the change
  • Any relevant issue numbers (e.g., Closes #123)

AI Description

• Replaces the placeholder clone URL with the canonical repository address.
• Standardizes local CLI examples on the uv-managed environment.
• Expands CI documentation to cover lint, typecheck, and performance checks.

High-Level Assessment

Directly correcting the canonical README is the appropriate approach. Generating these sections from repository metadata could reduce future drift, but would add disproportionate maintenance complexity for a small documentation correction.

Remediation recommended

1. Performance coverage is overstated ✓ Resolved 🟠 Medium 🐞 Bug ≡ Correctness
Description
The Performance row describes performance.yml as running for every push or pull request to main,
but its pull-request trigger is restricted by a path filter. Pull requests that do not change one of
the listed files will therefore lack the check even though contributors reading this table are told
to expect it.

ⓘ Recommendations generated based on similar findings in past PRs

Evidence
The newly added README row claims a general Push/PR to main trigger, while the workflow limits
pull_request execution to changes in five listed path patterns; only pushes to main are
unrestricted.

The issue below was found during a code review. Follow the provided context and guidance below and implement a solution

## Issue description
The CI table says performance checks run for all pull requests, while the workflow only runs for pull requests touching selected performance-related paths.

## Fix Focus Areas
- README.md[306-306]
- .github/workflows/performance.yml[3-11]

## Recommended Fix
Change the Performance trigger description to distinguish unrestricted pushes to `main` from path-filtered pull requests, for example: `Push to main; selected performance-related PR changes`.

Pull Request Overview

The pull request successfully updates the repository URL, aligns CLI examples with the 'uv' dependency manager, and documents additional CI/CD workflows. However, the current Codacy analysis indicates the PR is not up to standards.

The main issue preventing a clean merge is a formatting violation in the README.md file, where CLI examples exceed the character limit due to excessive padding. Addressing these line-length issues will bring the PR into compliance with quality standards.

Test suggestions

  • Verify the 'Clone & install' section displays the correct repository URL.
  • Verify the 'Quick start' and 'Run locally' sections use 'uv run' for all script execution examples.
  • Verify the 'CI/CD Workflows' table contains the three newly documented workflows with correct descriptions.

Pull Request Overview

Automated analysis indicates that this PR is not up to standards. While the documentation updates align with the project requirements, the changes have introduced several Markdown style violations and disrupted vertical alignment in code blocks. No security flaws or major logic bugs were identified.

Test suggestions

  • Verify the clone URL in the 'Clone & install' section matches the project owner and repository name
  • Ensure all CLI command examples in the README are updated to use the 'uv run' prefix for consistency
  • Confirm the CI/CD table contains accurate rows for Lint, Typecheck, and Performance workflows with corresponding file names and triggers

⚪ LOW RISK

Nitpick: The CI/CD Workflows table rows are inconsistent and exceed the line length limit. Reformatting the table to align pipes and using more concise descriptions where possible will resolve these style warnings.

Try running the following prompt in your IDE agent:

Reformat the CI/CD Workflows table in README.md to align all pipes (|) correctly and attempt to shorten the descriptions to stay closer to the 80-character line limit, or suggest an ignore rule for MD013 on this specific table.

* docs(readme): fix clone URL, uv run quick start, and CI table

Re-lands the unmerged 2026-09-10 housekeeping (#1248): clone
abhimehro/ctrld-sync, match AGENTS.md uv run commands, and list
lint/typecheck/performance beside test/sync/bandit.

Co-authored-by: abhimehrotra <abhimehrotra@bears.mybrcc.edu>

* docs: point WARP at config.py defaults and CLI bug template

DEFAULT_FOLDER_URLS lives in config.py, not main.py; document
config.yaml/--config as the file-based path. Replace the
web-app bug report template with CLI/uv environment fields.

* fix: Document performance path filters
