very magenta results

Hey,

I've just tried your tool to combine 16 ARW files from a7cr.
When I loaded the resulting arq in rawtherapee, the result was a mainly magenta blurry image not at all resembling the original content.
I ran your tool like this on win11:

I'm not sure if this error occurs because I'm using an unsupported camera or I'm misusing the tool.

I just did try the 4-image mode. Results are similar.
I wish I knew how to share a 4-500MB file here...

You could upload them to a Google drive or similar. If this takes too long due to limited upload bandwidth you could try setting the camera to APSC-crop, this reduces the file size by roughly 50%. Did you try different settings of (lossless / lossy) compression?

I downloaded the files to my Debian machine, combined them using the latest make_arq, and opened them in the latest RawTherapee (git version). It works nicely for me.

Could you upload your generated .arq? I would check how it looks on my machine so we can figure out if make_arq or RawTherapee is not working on your machine.

Hi, and thanks for the bug report. As @abrock, I have also just downloaded your sample and tried here, but I get the expected output (I used ART and not RawTherapee to open the arq, but the file looks ok). Could it be that you are using an outdated version of RT?
