Summary
The configured summary limit is described as a character count, but the implementation used Go's byte length, rejecting short non-ASCII summaries. Count Unicode code points in the first line and add a synthetic regression test.
Validation
go test gommit.go unicode_summary_test.go— passed.git diff --check— passed.The focused test uses only a synthetic message; no real commit history or hooks were used.
