Summary

  • Rewrite the first screen of the README around what the toolkit does for the person arriving: printing to a Snapmaker U1 from a phone through Telegram.
  • Add focused phone-printing and Telegram setup guides.
  • Improve the existing headless OrcaSlicer guide title and opening.
  • Add a GitHub Pages landing page with search-friendly title and description metadata.
  • Add a verified 1280 x 640 repository social preview and a reproducible PowerShell generator.

Validation

  • All new and modified relative Markdown links resolve.
  • Social preview verified at exactly 1280 x 640.
  • git diff --check passes.
  • Pytest discovery: 1,113 tests collected.
  • Focused Telegram, slicing, and upload smoke suite: 169 passed, 5 skipped, 1 failed.

The single failure is test_inject_thumbnail_happy_path_uses_real_injector on Windows. It exercises unchanged thumbnail-injector runtime code; this PR changes documentation and the standalone preview generator only.

After review / merge

No repository About text, topics, Pages settings, release titles, or social-preview settings are changed by this PR. Those can be applied separately after the content is approved.

The rewrite dropped the project's one-sentence stance on how AI should
touch physical machines; it costs nothing to keep, so it returns under the
safety paragraph. The old hero image lost its last reference in the same
rewrite, so it goes instead of lingering unused.
