The typewriter text is written to BG2 VRAM directly.
The previous patch did away with the BG2 backup / restore completely to maximise free ram and save a 100 bytes in bank 82.
Instead we only backup / restore the rows affected by the typewriter text during pause / unpause.
This works with all variants of the escape text and the BG2 backup / restore is substantially smaller at 194 bytes, leaving the remaining 3.8k of ram free and unused.
