安装需要在系统设置里允许「未知来源 / 安装未知应用」。两个包都是 1.15.1.6fix,包名 org.localsend.localsend_app.android44,可与官方版共存。
To sideload, enable “Install unknown apps” in Settings. Both are 1.15.1.6fix with package org.localsend.localsend_app.android44, so they install alongside the official LocalSend.

LocalSend-Android4.4 是 LocalSend(MIT 协议,作者 Tien Do Nam)的非官方社区分支,目的是让它在安卓 4.4 KitKat(API 19)及以上的老设备上也能用。与官方项目无任何隶属关系。

LocalSend 是一个开源、跨平台的 AirDrop 替代品:在同一局域网内的设备之间互传文件、照片、文字,全程加密(TLS),无需联网、无需账号。

本版本(1.15.1.6fix)包含:

  • 基于官方 v1.15.1(能在安卓 4.4 上运行的最高版本)
  • 6 个回移植修复:接收大文件不再 OOM、发送大文件不再 OOM、任意 URI 可点击、扫描按钮提示气泡、路径穿越安全修复、历史消息重复显示修复
  • 新增:自定义主题色(设置 → 颜色,12 个预设色)—— 因为安卓 12 以下读不到系统强调色
  • 新增:安卓 4.4 应用内 Material 3 文件/文件夹浏览器 —— 让「发送整个文件夹」、文件多选、以及接收「保存目录」的选择在 KitKat 上都可用(系统 SAF 目录选择器是 API 21+);带可编辑地址栏与适配平板的大尺寸布局
  • 平板 UI 放大(仅大屏,手机不变,导航栏与控件更大);自定义主题色现在所有安卓版本都能选,安卓 12+ 另有独立的「系统取色」按钮;移除桌面专用的 Yaru 主题,安装包更小
  • 安卓 5.0+ 用 arm64-v8a 包,老设备 / 安卓 4.4 用 armeabi-v7a 包

安卓 4.4 说明: 现在可通过内置的 Material 3 浏览器「发送整个文件夹」(系统 SAF 目录选择器是 API 21+,KitKat 改用应用内浏览器);单个文件 / 媒体 / 文字的发送、以及全部接收功能都正常。

参考测试设备: 红米 Note 1(安卓 4.4.4 KitKat,armeabi-v7a)。

English

LocalSend-Android4.4 is an unofficial community fork of LocalSend (MIT, by Tien Do Nam) that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat (API 19) and up. Not affiliated with the official project.

LocalSend is an open-source, cross-platform AirDrop alternative: send files, photos, and text between devices on the same local network — encrypted (TLS), no internet, no account.

This release (1.15.1.6fix) includes:

  • Based on official v1.15.1 (the highest version that runs on Android 4.4)
  • 6 back-ported fixes: receive large files without OOM, send large files without OOM, clickable URIs, scan-button tooltip, path-traversal security fix, duplicate-text-message fix
  • New: custom theme color (Settings → Color, 12 presets) — since Android < 12 can’t read the system accent color
  • New: in-app Material 3 file/folder browser on Android 4.4 — makes “send an entire folder”, multi-file select, and choosing the receive “save folder” work on KitKat (the system SAF directory picker is API 21+); has an editable address bar and a large, tablet-friendly layout
  • Bigger UI on tablets (large screens only; phones unchanged — larger nav rail & controls); the custom theme color now works on every Android version, with a dedicated "system color" button on Android 12+; removed the desktop-only Yaru theme for a smaller APK
  • Use the arm64-v8a APK for Android 5.0+, the armeabi-v7a APK for old / Android 4.4 devices

Android 4.4 notes: sending an entire folder now works through the built-in Material 3 browser (the system SAF directory picker is API 21+, so KitKat uses the in-app browser); sending individual files/media/text and all receiving work fine.

Reference test device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 1 (Android 4.4.4 KitKat, armeabi-v7a).
